Favourable and best possible location to Gold Brook Covered Bridge. Spotless room for a queen sized bed as expected.

Loved this classy hotel, recommend. The breakfast looked fantastic and enjoyable, with these prices, unfortunately we didn't have time and didn't try it. The staff greeted everyone and was always available. The location was central, excellent in the heart of town.

The restaurant located in the hotel had decent food at modest prices. The pool and spa area was quite nice.
We had booked a deluxe room, but did not stay in one.The beds were quite uncomfortable.

Amazing food, excellent service and delightful view of the surrounding mountains. Friendly check-in and late check-out, parking on site. Clean pool with a hot tub and a Jacuzzi. Location next to town centre and the ski hill.

A good escape in Stowe
The quaint charm of the hotel paired with an really good spa experience made for an lovely anniversary getaway. Breakfast was a highlight each morning!
Parking can be a bit challenging since the lot is small. We had to walk a bit to find a spot, slightly inconvenient after a long day of exploring.

what a wonderful pleasure to stay in such lovely surroundings although out of season things were well kept and clean!!! The room we stayed in was exceptional value and we would highly recommed Green Mountain Inn to anyone the best of the four places we stayed on this trip. Drive around the area for beautiful scenery, would definately go again if over that way

The warm atmosphere at breakfast in the 18 Main was a good start to my days exploring nearby landmarks like the picturesque Lamoille River.

I enjoyed being in Stowe to have access to all the restaurants and shops. Staying on the hill would have meant being isolated from all the town has to offer. I found the sauna and hot tub to be large and immaculately maintained throughout our stay. The afternoon tea and cookies was a very nice touch when we returned from skiing. All in all a very relaxing and convenient place to stay.
Really only one complaint. When we are on the road we take the message regarding replacing and cleaning towels seriously and generally leave the Do Not Disturb sign on the door for the 2-3 nights we are staying. This is satisfies our commitment to the environment and coincidently means that cleaning staff are not required to make up our room each day. It was therefore an unwelcome surprise to have a "gratuity" charge of 10$ a day added to our bill. We paid 40$ in gratuities for someone who prepared our room before we arrived and prepared it for the next guest. If the Inn feels that people forget/neglect to think of a gratuity then I recommend they ask guests at checkout if they would like to include a gratuity for housekeeping. Better yet, housekeeping staff should be paid a living wage and be relieved of depending on tips to augment their wages. A relatively small but very annoying part of our trip.

good staff but room for improvement
The desk staff and restaurant team provided a warm atmosphere. The access to a 24-hour Keurig coffee maker was a nice touch, great to enjoy hot drinks whenever we wanted.
Overall service was great, but the room cleanliness could have been better.

The staff was amazing and our room could not have been better. We evacuated from a resort in ct due to Hurricane Sandy and are so happy we ended up at the Green Mountain Inn.

Upon checking in the staff was super welcoming and very engaging. Our room was located in the Mill house, which was nice and quiet. The room was beautiful and my favorite thing was the two person tub that had folding doors that opened up to the rest of the room looking at the gas fireplace. Perfect for a romantic weekend!!
